The basic risks of getting a penile piercing are infection, urethral damage, discolouration, bleeding, and migration. Other than that, if you follow the proper precautions i.e. getting yourself professionally pierced, you shouldnt have many problems. Although there may be a good deal of soreness and pain when you are cleaning your piercing. Just remember that it is a wound treat it like one.
