The tissue extends beyond the borders of the original wound, usually does not regress spontaneously, and tends to recur after excision) scarring are two risks associated with any piercing, but receiving an impact injury from your nose piercing due to an accident can cause hypertrophic (similar to Keloid, but resulting from accidental causes, and often much less attractive) scarring, and possible aspiration.
