To aid healing of your belly button piercing, wash twice daily. Too much cleansing may interfere with your bodys natural ability to ward off infection. Wash your hands before touching your belly button ring. Apply a sea salt water solution to your belly button piercing for 3 minutes to soak off dried material on and around your belly button ring, that could cause damage to the inside of your belly button piercing.

Now rotate your belly button ring with the sea salt water through your body piercing for about one minute. Rinse your belly button ring with water, making sure no sea salt solution is left, then pat your belly button piercing dry with a paper towel or let your belly button air dry.
