Kensington Alive is a partnership between St. Stephens Community House and the Kensington community. Our vision is to foster a living history of Kensington Market for cultural and educational purposes. Living history is about sharing and celebrating the past, present and future of neighbourhoods and communities.
| The Kensington Alive goals are: |
- To produce accessible multi-media materials and events that will promote the living history of Kensington Market. These include a web site, CD Rom, display board, walking tours and a study guide to be used in local schools.
- To provide educational presentations about the history of Kensington Market to local schools, to the many students/visitors that come to Kensington Market and any other interested groups.
