Effective August 1st, 2010, Employment Ontario is introducing a new “Employment Service Delivery Model” to make it easier for job seekers to find and access employment training and services. These changes will result in more access points in many of the city’s formerly under-served communities. These changes will make it easier for job seekers to find and use services based on individual needs and interests at one location.
As we transition to this new model, our Employment Resource Centre will undergo renovations, closing it doors and relocating its services on Friday, August 13th. Starting Monday, August 16th, temporary Resource and Information services will be set-up on the second floor. Once renovations are completed in late November, these services will return to the first floor in a new renovated space with new computers to serve you better.
Please note that during the renovation period that our workshop schedule, guest speaker series, resource area and computer lab will be modified and reduced slightly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
St. Stephen’s Community House and the Toronto Employment Service Delivery Network remain dedicated to providing you with the best employment services possible in Toronto. We encourage you to contact us at our Employment and Training Centre at 416-531-4631, your closest Employment Ontario Service Provider, or Employment Ontario at http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/tcu/employmentontario/ or 1-800 387-5656.
