Connections

Connections is a free 18-week comprehensive customer service training program for newcomers to Canada, who are currently on social assistance and English in not their first language. It is comprised of twelve weeks of in-class computer, customer service, Business English training and job search preparation, coupled with an six-week co-op work placement.

Here's what Connections will help you to do:

• Upgrade your business English skills
• Learn popular office computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Learn customer service skills
• Build job skills and a Canadian work reference through a co-op work placement
• Receive continued support and professional guidance by a job developer upon completion of the course
